On The WordPath: Creating Your Novel

LONG WEEKEND  ‘AT-HOME’ WRITING PROGRAMME

MORNING AND AFTERNOON  WORKSHOPS, ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS & EVENING EVENT

FRIDAY  25th February - SUNDAY 27th February 2022

So many people think writing a novel is about planning, structure and research. But there’s another more creative and interesting path to finishing a work of fiction. This intensive three-day course takes both the writer and the reader from first steps along a wandering, sometimes strenuous adventure… To finish in a place that can become the final pages of a novel.

Whether you are yet to begin a project, or in its earliest stages – this immersive programme is the opposite of any proscriptive course of rules and ‘how-to’ lists but is, rather, an exploration of what it means to develop, persevere and sustain yourself in generating productive and interesting writing.

It’s about finding your own WordPath - a creative practice that works for you…

In three creatively charged and highly productive days you will be taking part in workshops, discussion groups, feedback sessions - all dedicated to craft and creativity - including a visit from an industry professional with Q&A and a Sunday night reading aloud of work produced.
